Washingtonian Awards

Each year, The Washingtonian asks more than 13,000 doctors in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia to nominate a colleague in each of the 39 specialties. Every year they receive responses from more than 3,000 physicians. Nominating physicians receive an online survey only accessible to physicians with an active medical-license number registered in D.C., Maryland, or Virginia. Physicians with the highest votes in each category are designated, Top Doctors.
