Dallas, Texas – Dr. Trisha Patel, dermatologist, begins seeing patients at U.S. Dermatology Partners Dallas Presbyterian on September 10th. She will care for patients in the new 6,000-square-foot office that offers expanded services for Dallas Presbyterian patients.
Dr. Patel earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where she received top honors as a member of AOA and Gold Humanism, both prestigious medical honor societies. She completed her internal medicine internship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and completed her dermatology residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Patel has a particular interest in treating dermatologic health disorders, including alopecia, inflammatory dermatoses, and malignancies. She is passionate about helping patients improve quality of life with good skin care and finds great reward in watching her patients awake with a new sense of confidence and approach to the world.
She also has an interest and specialty in ethnic skin, strengthened by her training at Howard University Hospital. “Our patients of color are often left out of dermatology, as most of dermatologists are not trained to recognize non-white skin,” she says.
Dr. Patel enjoys traveling, discovering new places, spending time with friends and family and exploring new places to eat.
