Dr. Emily Nesbitt began her academic journey at Vanderbilt University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. She then went on to graduate in the top third of her class at the University of Maryland School of Medicine where she received the Carolyn J. Pass Award for outstanding clinical performance in dermatology. She completed her intern year in internal medicine at MedStar Health in Baltimore and then pursued a dermatology residency at the University of Maryland, where she gained extensive experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of dermatologic conditions in a diverse patient population.
Dr. Nesbitt specializes in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, with a particular interest in skin cancer surveillance, prevention, and treatment. She is also skilled in performing surgical excisions and various cosmetic procedures, including Botox and injectable fillers. She expertly manages a wide range of dermatologic conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa, and more.
