Michael Anderson earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Utah College of Nursing in Salt Lake City, Utah. He went on to earn his Nurse Practitioner graduate degree from Chamberlin University. Michael’s interest in dermatology began during his clinical training in nursing school, but he began his career in pain management. After several years working in emergency care and pain management, he decided to shift to dermatology. Michael practiced medical and surgical dermatology for five years in Arizona before relocating to Austin.
Michael is a Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner (DCNP) and a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Dermatology Nurse Association. His clinical interests include acne and skin cancer prevention and treatment. Michael is currently accepting patients of all ages and skin types in our Austin, Texas clinic under the supervision of Board-Certified Dermatologists, Drs. Roopal Bhatt and Jill Hude.
