Dr. Andrew Rogers graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and minor in Chemistry at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He received his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He completed his internship year in Washington, DC at MedStar Health—Georgetown/Washington Hospital Center and his dermatology residency at Johns Hopkins.
Dr. Rogers chose dermatology because he enjoys treating the diverse range of conditions within the field. He sees patients for any dermatologic ailment, including rashes, skin cancers, infections, nail problems, and hair loss. “When you treat skin disease, the results are very tangible to patients and can have a huge impact on their life. It is very gratifying to help people in this way,” says Dr. Rogers.
Dr. Rogers lives with his family in Montgomery County, Maryland. He loves playing the drums, live music, basketball, skiing and snowboarding, eating great food, fishing, hiking with his dog, and traveling.
