Brittany Schupbach is from Plano, TX and attended Plano Senior High where she was an officer of the Planoette drill team her senior year. She misses the school spirit and traditions of the school, but occasionally makes it back to some of the Wildcat football games. She went on to Texas Tech University in Lubbock earning her undergraduate degree in nutritional sciences and graduated summa cum laude in 2009. After graduation, she returned to Plano and worked as a senior medical assistant in our office for a year while applying for PA school. Brittany earned her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies degree in Midland, TX through Texas Tech University Health and Sciences Center.
After completing her Masters, Brittany returned to our office and been one of our Physician Assistants since 2013 where she has trained and works alongside our dermatologists. She enjoys the variety that dermatology has to offer including medical, surgical and cosmetic concerns.
Brittany Schupbach holds a certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is licensed with the Texas Medical Board. She is a Diplomate Fellow with the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Outside of work, Brittany and her husband have four boys and two dogs. Their oldest sons keep them very busy with Boy Scout activities. Their youngest son was born with muscular dystrophy. Having to spend his first six months in the hospital and currently still requiring substantial medical care, she understands the hard work it takes to be a parent of a child with special needs.
She is looking forward to taking care of you and your family in McKinney, Texas.
