Florencia Anatelli, MD

Dr. Florencia Anatelli is a board-certified dermatopathologist who joined Southwest Skin Specialists in 2019, now a division of U.S. Dermatology Partners.

Dr. Anatelli earned her Medical Degree from the National University of Rosario, Argentina. Her extensive post-graduate training includes a residency in Anatomic Pathology at Washington University School of Medicine/Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO, and a fellowship in Dermatopathology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Additionally, she completed a research fellowship at the Wellman Center for Photomedicine at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School.

Prior to joining the group in Arizona, Dr. Anatelli contributed significantly to the medical community in the Washington DC metropolitan area. There, she not only brought her expertise in private practice but also contributed to community service in leadership roles and medical residents and practitioners’ education. She was a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pathology and Pediatrics at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. In addition, she served as President of the Dermatological Society of Washington DC.

Based at our U.S. Dermatology Partners Pathology Laboratory in Scottsdale, Arizona, Dr. Anatelli provides services to all of our clinics in the Southwest Region.
