Frank Shagets, MD

Dr. Frank Shagets is a longtime resident of Joplin and specializes in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. After graduating from Parkwood High School in Joplin, he completed his undergraduate degree from the United States Air Force Academy and subsequently received his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Further training included completion of his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery followed by a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Iowa.

Dr. Shanks is double-board certified and has extensive experience over many years of practice. He practices at our Joplin office where his main focus is in assisting and the execution of reconstructive procedures following extensive skin cancer removal as well as minor cases in other areas of expertise.
