Raylee Baber grew up on a farm outside of Lubbock, Texas and graduated from Texas A&M University with her Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Leadership and Development with a minor in Business. She remained at Texas A&M earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
After obtaining her nursing degree, Raylee moved to Fort Worth, Texas where she worked in a level 2 trauma ER and preoperative and postoperative care. Raylee later made the decision to further her training in nursing by obtaining her Masters of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX.
As a nurse, Raylee has observed the profound gap between quality of life and the lack of knowledge to obtain such. She aims to make a difference and help bridge the gap in the communities she serves. “I am family-oriented and want to treat each of my patients as if they were my family member”, says Raylee.
After struggling with her own skin disorders, Raylee made the decision to pursue dermatology. She has always loved skincare and desires to help her patients thrive and feel confident in their skin. Her clinical interests are skin exams, acne, and solving problematic skin conditions. She is excited to help her community with their dermatology needs.
Raylee is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Society of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners.
Outside of work, Raylee enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling, doing outdoor sports, and exercising.
Raylee practices at our Weatherford office and is accepting new patients!
