Dr. Tiffany Tello is a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon who is double board-certified in dermatology and micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Denver where she competed as a Division 1 gymnast. She then earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Colorado where she was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and received several awards for her research.
She completed her dermatology residency training at the top-ranked University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), and stayed to complete fellowship training in Mohs micrographic surgery, reconstructive surgery, and cosmetic procedures.
Dr. Tello is an expert in the management of skin cancer, having completed over 5,000 Mohs procedures. She treats all types of skin cancer including basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, melanoma, and rare skin tumors. She uses techniques that maximize cure rate, restore function, and optimize cosmetic outcome. She has a passion for patient care, a commitment to excellence, and warm bedside manner.
Dr. Tello has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles, contributed to textbook chapters, and presented her research at both national and international conferences. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and an active member of the American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS) and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS).
In her free time, Dr. Tello enjoys skiing, hiking, and spending time outdoors with her two daughters, husband, and their labrador retriever.
